Hawaiian Pizza

My dad came to visit this week from Florida for my sons birthday! We were so happy to see him! One of  traditions we have when we get together is making homemade pizza!  We ALWAYS do this when we get together! I love pizza, and I love this tradition!  Here’s what we do..we each get our own pizza to make, whatever kind we want. There is 4 of us, so yes, that’s 4 large pizza’s!! Then my dad and I go shopping for all the ingredients, including the dough. Then we spend the evening creating our pizza’s over beer/ wine and conversation! It’s so much fun! My dad is a pro at his pizza making. One of our favorites is Hawaiian pizza! I’ll post some others at a later time!

Ingredients:

1 refrigerated pizza dough (allow to rest and rise a bit)

Jar of pizza sauce (or homemade pizza sauce)

2 cups mozzarella cheese

8 oz diced ham

1 can of crushed pineapple

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Spread dough onto greased pizza pan

Spread about 1 cup sauce

Next spread cheese over sauce, followed by the diced ham and pineapple

Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese on top (or a little grated parmesan)

Bake in oven 12-16 minutes until done, let cool, slice and enjoy!!
